Grady Veterinary Hospital is a full‑service, 24‑hour emergency, specialty, and general practice hospital serving the Greater Cincinnati region. We are seeking an Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our fast‑paced, dynamic GP and ER departments. This department is ideal for technicians who are eager to expand their skillset, collaborate across hospital teams, and play an integral role in patient care. Overnight Veterinary Technician Grady Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio $28.00 – $33.00 per hour (based on experience) This role is eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $2,500 and shift differentials. Shift schedule: 10‑hour shifts, rotating weekends. Acceptable shifts include 4 PM–2 AM, 5 PM–3 AM, 6 PM–4 PM, 7 PM–5 AM, or 9 PM–7 AM. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones. Perform triage and initial interventions with emergency patients. Conduct basic examinations to assess stability. Perform advanced nursing skills, including CPR, phlebotomy, cystocentesis, lab tests, and various medication administrations. Administer and monitor sedated patients for minor procedures and provide advanced anesthetic skills for emergency surgery. Assist the DVM in scheduled GP appointments and walk‑in appointments. Work shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours for evening and night shifts. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent. Veterinary Technician Certification (RVT) required. Minimum two years of prior veterinary hospital experience required; surgical experience is not required but willingness to train is necessary. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
