RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Overview Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena and Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area. Responsibilities The Reasons Residential Program Manager assumes responsibility for facility daily operations. This includes supervision of clinical and non‑clinical staff assigned to the Residential House, ensuring that patient care is provided accurately and timely. The Program Manager is also responsible for the supervision of care for patients with eating disorders and co‑occurring diagnoses, ensuring that all medical record documentation is completed according to policy and regulatory agency standards in coordination with the Clinical Director, Director of Operations, and Director of Nursing. This position may provide direct patient care. Key Responsibilities Assume responsibility for complete facility operations and staff management. Act as a liaison between staff, patients and facility administration. Assist Director of Nursing and Clinical Director in evaluating staff performance and participate in orientation of new staff. Assist in implementing facility policies and procedures. Evaluate patient/milieu acuity, report high acuity to the Director of Nursing. Schedule staff assignments and program schedules according to acuity and budgetary guidelines. Qualifications Licensure: Master’s and license preferred in one of the following: Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Psychologist, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or related license meeting eligibility criteria. Education: Degree from an accredited program in field of study. Experience: Supervisory/managerial experience required, preferably in a psychiatric or residential treatment facility. Experience with the eating disorder population preferred. In lieu of experience, specialized education and training may be acceptable. Additional Requirements: Position requires flexible hours and participation in an on‑call rotation.
