Import Export Coordinator

The Import Export Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting import and export activities. This includes ensuring compliance with U.S. import & export regulations, coordinating inbound & outbound shipments, preparing and reviewing documentation, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with CBP and other government agency requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate import/export transactions in accordance with U.S. Customs regulations. Process and maintain documentation, export manifests, commercial invoices, and other applicable controls. Assist in verifying the classification of goods using HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes and country of origin for accuracy. Ensure all inventory activities are accurately recorded and fully auditable in the inventory control & recordkeeping system to support compliance, traceability, and reporting accuracy. Support weekly and monthly reporting requirements, including export summaries, while meeting established deadlines. Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, carriers, and internal logistics teams to coordinate timely and compliant export shipments. Monitor export timelines, troubleshoot delays, and ensure shipping documents match the export declaration. Support the Trade Compliance Team in responding to inquiries, submitting corrections, and maintaining SOPs. Qualifications Associate in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience in trade compliance, exports, or logistics required. Familiarity with U.S. export regulations, CBP procedures, and ACE portal. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Proficient in MS SUITE required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination. Experience with bonded movements preferred. Familiarity with trade compliance software such as Descartes or SAP preferred. Primary location at the AGL main office (Surprise, AZ) with regular travel to client site (Casa Grande, AZ).
