Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing strong therapeutic rapport while observing professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular client meetings to assess progress and well-being, scheduling appointments, and planning for discharge when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, person-centered treatment plans that cater to specific client needs and goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment notes to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform critical intake assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, ensuring appropriate treatment initiation.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions aimed at addressing clients’ psychological and emotional challenges.
• Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and adhere to ongoing professional development.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain a growth mindset, seeking continual improvement and adapting to evolving client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the privilege of working with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds and possess unique needs, allowing counselors to apply innovative approaches and personalized treatment strategies that enhance client welfare and recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must hold an unrestricted, independent, current, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is essential.
• Proficiency in using technology, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, is mandatory.
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is highly desirable.
• Comfort and competence in conducting intake assessments and initiating treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Additional training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy) is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or families facing trauma.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000. Additionally, our fee-for-service payment model gives counselors the opportunity to earn based on the services provided, allowing for greater financial autonomy.
