Interim Manager, Case Management

Join a Michigan hospital as their next Interim Manager, Case Management! The Position An Interim Manager, Case Management is needed to provide day-to-day leadership for a hospital-based case management team, ensuring effective cross-continuum care coordination and patient-centered services. Key responsibilities include managing care coordination operations; partnering with physicians and market leaders to improve patient outcomes; collaborating closely with Utilization Management and Revenue Cycle teams; mentoring staff; and stabilizing team performance through strong leadership and accountability. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree is required. Social Work and/or RN license is required. Compensation & Benefits Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, following Fair Market Value evaluation. Some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement benefits. Interim positions may include travel requirements; B.E. Smith and the client cover all travel, accommodation, and work-related expenses, and provide bi-weekly trips home. Some roles may require specific licenses such as the Nurse Licensure Compact for registered nurses.
