Medical Scribe

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Scribe to support our client's healthcare facility in Melbourne, FL.

Schedule: M-F 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Float / Coverage Area:
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 12 Weeks (Possible extension)
Pay Range: $18.00 to $18.50/hour*
Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable) : N/A
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

• Accompany providers during patient interviews and examinations.
• Document patient history, examinations, assessments, vitals, and care activities in the EMR.
• Accurately record times of patient-care activities.
• Assist with patient comfort needs, supplies, and other care-team requests.
• Respond to patient call lights and maintain room/PPE supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Complete assigned tasks promptly while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an approved Medical Terminology course.
• License(s):
• Certification(s): AHA BLS/CPR certification.
• Years of experience: Minimum 6 months of Medical Scribe experience .
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:
• Strong communication, documentation, reliability, and teamwork skills.
