Sterile Processing Tech Location: Neptune, NJ Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,450 to $1,600 per week Shift: 5 days x 8 hours, evenings 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Contract: 13 weeks (possible extension) Start Date: 7/13/2026 About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Lancesoft Inc. to find a qualified Sterile Processing Tech in Neptune, New Jersey, 07753. Responsibilities The Central Supply Technician is responsible for the cleaning, processing, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation, patient care equipment and re‑useable medical/surgical items. The position also functions as a Case Cart Attendant for the Operating Room. Receives, sorts, processes, assembles or sterilizes patient care equipment and surgical instruments according to established departmental policies. Understands all detergents and disinfectants used to process items; implements Universal Precautions and proper use of P.P.E. Operates and loads sterilizers (Steam, ETO, Sterrad, Steris) and assures biological tests and Bowie Dick tests are correctly performed, incubated, read, and recorded. Ensures sterilization records are completed correctly, including labeling, load gun use, chemical integrator reading and documentation. Adheres to correct use of computerized instrument count sheets. Prepares case carts for delivery to room using doctor’s preference information to assemble required instruments, drugs, and special equipment. Notifies nursing team of missing items and confirms shortages with coordinator, completing a daily checklist. Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 60 lbs., and stands for the length of shift. Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies. Qualifications Must have 5 years of Certified SPT experience. CRCST or CBSPD License. BLS – AHA certification.
