Travel RN – Med-Surg Float Pool

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Med-Surg Float Pool setting at a large academic medical center
• Float to various medical-surgical units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital (candidates with 1 year of experience must pass a competency assessment)
• Candidates with 1 year of experience must complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Med-Surg experience in a large academic hospital setting
• Prior float pool experience across multiple medical-surgical units
• Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new unit environments
