Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing best-practice frameworks to guide clients in their healing journeys.

• Complete thorough psychosocial assessments to understand client needs, strengths, and areas for growth, subsequently developing personalized treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention support, employing de-escalation techniques to assist clients in distress and promote a stable environment.

• Facilitate clients’ connections to critical community resources such as healthcare services, housing assistance, and financial aid programs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to coordinate integrative treatment approaches tailored to individual client needs.

• Document therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes according to HIPAA guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with clients experiencing mental health disorders, substance use issues, and co-occurring conditions, focusing on those admitted to our detox center. Your approach will hinge on trauma-informed care, emphasizing empathy and understanding to foster trust and healing. You'll support a diverse range of clients encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and personal stories, enabling them to rebuild their lives and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued in the state of Georgia.

• At least two years of clinical experience working in mental health or related social services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
