We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to: Serve as a clinical expert within the Diagnostic & Therapy Center (DTC) at American Family Children’s Hospital, supporting specialized pediatric areas including infusion therapy, procedural sedation, and pre/post procedural care. Advance nursing practice and improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives, staff mentorship, and implementation of innovative care delivery models. Support nurses caring for pediatric patients receiving chemotherapy, research infusions, injections, procedural sedation, MRI/anesthesia recovery, cardiac cath recovery, and outpatient specialty procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders, child life specialists, and nursing teams to identify gaps in care delivery and develop strategies that enhance safety, patient experience, and clinical outcomes. Help guide practice and education within a highly specialized pediatric environment where nurses develop expertise across multiple procedural and therapeutic care settings. Three years of pediatric procedural or ICU level experience is highly preferred.
