Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry at a busy hospital in Reno, Nevada. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment. Candidates are required to bring their Nevada RN license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Telemetry
• Location: Reno, NV
• Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start, 2 years of telemetry experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and relevant experience.
• Schedule: 3x12 nights shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. May be required to work major holidays.
• Unit Description: The telemetry unit treats patients with conditions such as CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. The team manages non-titratable cardiac medication drips and may float to intensive care units, medical-surgical units, or other departments within the hospital as needed.
