Job Summary:

This interventional radiology technologist plays a vital role in performing imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The position requires maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and technical proficiency throughout all procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic and interventional images.
  
  
• 
  Prepare patients for procedures by explaining procedures and positioning them accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document all procedures accurately in compliance with regulations.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess current interventional radiology experience.
  
  
• 
  Hold a valid full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the California Department of Health Services.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current CPR certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess ARRT certification and a valid fluoroscopy permit.
  
  
• 
  Preferred: ARRT Advanced Level Interventional Certification (Cardiovascular Interventional Technology).
