Heavy Assembler A manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking two Heavy Assemblers for the 1st shift in the Housing department. Responsibilities Read blueprints to assemble industrial filters. Utilize hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components. Form or bend metal tubing as required. Perform functional testing of manufactured products. Pack final products for shipment. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly. Blueprint reading skills. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform electrical wiring and mechanic tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with bending machines and as a machine operator. Strong mechanical aptitude. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with occasional mandated overtime, including some Saturday work. Each shift includes a 30-min unpaid lunch and two or three 15-min paid breaks. The facility is clean, air-conditioned, and quiet, with team-oriented work in groups of 4 or 5. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes, with PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high visibility vest provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
