Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Maryland Physical Therapy license or eligibility
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Assignment Details

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Clinic hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm
• Typical schedule may include 2 later shifts from 10:30am to 7:00pm and 2 earlier shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm
• Friday clinic hours end at 5:00pm
• Schedule may also include 8:30am to 5:00pm shifts

Location Highlights

Frederick offers access to both historic downtown amenities and outdoor recreation. Downtown Frederick features Carroll Creek Park and more than 200 locally owned shops, restaurants, and galleries within a walkable district. Gambrill State Park is about 10 miles west of the city, and Cunningham Falls State Park is about 20 miles away for hiking, camping, and waterfall views. Frederick also provides regional access via I-70 and I-270, with Baltimore and Washington, D.C. both reachable in about an hour depending on traffic.
