Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Administer care to critically ill patients, including sedated and ventilated individuals
• Monitor and titrate drips such as Precedex, Propofol, and more
• Perform PEG tube care/feedings and manage CVC/PICC/Midline lines
• Care for tracheostomy patients and those requiring sedation and pain control drips

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiated
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with critical care skills such as PEG tube care, ventilator management, and titration of vasopressors
