Our practice provides high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including both companion animals and large animals. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills, continue learning, and make a meaningful difference for animals and their families.
What You'll Do:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and diagnostic imaging
- Monitor anesthesia and support patients throughout surgical recovery
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Prepare and maintain surgical, treatment, and examination areas
- Educate clients about medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Support efficient patient flow and collaborate with the entire hospital team
- Help create a compassionate and positive experience for every client and patient
What We're Looking For:
- Current Ohio RVT license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong technical and patient-care skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A compassionate, dependable, and team-focused attitude
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in continuing education and professional growth
- Experience with large animals is welcomed but not required
