Exciting opportunities are available for six dedicated paraprofessionals to support students in vibrant elementary and preschool environments near Hazlet, NJ. These contract positions begin as soon as possible and extend through June 18, 2027, offering a rewarding chance to impact young learners in both 1:1 and classroom settings.

Openings by Location & Schedule:
Elementary School (Two positions, 8:10 AM – 2:50 PM, ~30 hours/week)

• Support LLD (Learning and/or Language Disabilities) class as a 2:1 aide
• Provide 1:1 assistance in an ICR (In-Class Resource) setting

Pre-School (Two positions, 8:35 AM – 3:00 PM, ~30 hours/week)

• Serve as a classroom aide in PSD (PreSchool Disabled) classes

Elementary School (Two positions, 8:50 AM – 3:30 PM, ~30 hours/week)

• Work as a 1:1 aide for an LLD class
• Assist as a classroom aide in another LLD class

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
• Calm, patient demeanor with strong communication skills
• Ability to follow teacher direction and contribute positively to a team
• Flexibility to work with students requiring individualized support
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students with diverse learning needs in classroom or 1:1 settings
• Assist teachers in instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision
• Encourage positive student engagement and participation
• Support students’ educational, social, and emotional growth

This is a W2 hourly contract with compensation at $21 per hour.
