Perfect Candidate: Education: Graduated with a 4-year university degreein Engineering Technology or Construction Management. This person should have worked an internshipwith a contractor for at least two summers during their university leveleducation.
Experience: Worked with a utility contractor for atleast 3-5 years. This work could includeonsite field experience, or office experience. Must have handled submittal reviews, along with processing them througha software-based management system. Hasgood technical writing skills. Very detail oriented.

Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed reviews of reinforcingsteel drawings
- Review concrete mix designs
- Analyze process equipment submittals vs.project specifications and can see installation problems prior to releasingfabrication and shipment. Must be ableto coordinate with the PM and take directions from the PM.
- Review of architectural package submittals
- Review of electrical package submittals
- Review of HVAC package submittals
- Review Asphalt Paving + Curb & Gutter +Concrete Pavement package submittals
- Must be able to determine what routing andlayout for DI pipe systems will best work for field installations, thenrequisition up this material, prepare detailed pipe laying / installationdrawings, prepare submittals and submit for review to the engineer or record.(Flanged + Buried + MJ + RJ systems)
- Review process chemical feed systemsubmittals
- Requisition and order chemical feed pipingpackages (Sch 80 PVC, CPVC, and HDPE systems)
- Review Instrumentation system packagesubmittals
- Knowledge of schedule software
- Understand what critical path represents
- Must be able to work under pressure andperform on a very professional level
