Physical Therapist - School Setting in Commerce City, CO

This onsite opportunity supports K-8 students for 1.5 hours per week, running from ASAP through the end of the school year. Youll take on a dynamic role fostering student growth and inclusion, partnering with dedicated educators and families near Commerce City, CO. What Youll Bring: Current Physical Therapist license issued by the relevant State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Masters degree in Physical Therapy School-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but motivated therapists open to new environments are welcome Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to evidence-based practice and flexible, student-centered care Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect PT services according to students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or Section 504 plans Evaluate gross motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and postural control to determine student needs Work in close partnership with teachers, parents, and special education teams to help students access and participate in school activities Create, implement, and adapt therapy plans, including recommendations for adaptive equipment or assistive devices Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and actively participate in IEP/504 meetings and ongoing school initiatives Benefits: Step into a supportive contract assignment with competitive weekly pay.
