Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide care in a fast-paced environment. The ER RN will assess and treat patients in various states of health, focusing on the care of traumatic and non-traumatic injuries. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 stroke and cardiac center, demonstrating proficiency in handling high patient volumes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients within the ER.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV and central line management.
• Ensure thorough documentation of patient charts using the Epic system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care and rapid response to emergencies.
• Float between like units as necessary, maintaining competency in diverse ER scenarios.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency care.
• Current RN license required.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Proficient in the EPIC charting system.
• Ability to float and adapt to various like units as needed.
