About the Role

We are in search of an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a dynamic and growing team committed to delivering outstanding care. Leveraging advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while partnering with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals to offer clarity and reassurance to patients through quick and precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with patience and empathy
  • Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
  • Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
  • Stay current with advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications

  • Possession of current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
