Travel CVOR Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Surgery (Heart Team)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday, Wednesday, and Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures as part of the heart team
• Assist surgical team members throughout all phases of open-heart and cardiovascular operations
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia providers, and other OR team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work a set schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel assignment beginning on or around June 15, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in scrub and/or circulator roles within a cardiovascular or cardiothoracic OR setting
• Familiarity with heart team protocols, open-heart procedures, and cardiovascular surgical instrumentation
• ACLS certification
