Quick Facts Location: 6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, TX 75088 Start Date: 07/23/2026 End Date/Duration: Contract length discussed upon application Shift: 24-hour in-house shift Hours/week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Travel/Locum tenens License/Certs: Texas Medical License; board certification preferred Experience: Previous hospitalist or OB/GYN experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $214.50/hour Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and miscellaneous reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Dedicated 24/7 support team during your assignment What You’ll Do Provide obstetric triage, admissions, and inpatient care Attend deliveries and perform surgical assists including cesarean sections Manage labor and fetal monitoring during delivery processes Respond to OB emergencies, including ER consults for GYN issues Collaborate with neonatal specialists and other hospital staff in a Level III NICU setting Cover the OB floor and see unassigned patients as needed Engage in private call coverage during shift What You Need Valid Texas medical license or willingness to obtain Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN or Hospitalist specialties Demonstrated experience in obstetrics/hospitalist roles Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment This OB/GYN hospitalist role is based at a leading facility in Rowlett, TX, offering a dynamic environment with a focus on women’s health.
