Registered Nurse (RN) // Radiology Onsite 13 weeks Share on Job Description 8 hours/day 5 days/week WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team in Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, promoting health and wellness, and ensuring compliance with all nursing standards and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to professional development and a passion for fostering a caring and healing environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients, serving as a primary or accountable nurse as needed. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management using available resources. Utilize pharmacology knowledge to safely administer medications according to policy. Contribute to productivity and effective resource utilization, including staffing, time management, and supplies. Comply with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and policies. Participate in and support the Nursing Shared Governance Model, including improvement initiatives and peer review practices. Engage in professional development, continuing education, and complete all mandatory education requirements. Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Experience: 6 months to 3 years of Nursing (RN) experience, 0 to 3 years of management experience, and 5+ years of direct experience. Skills: Collaboration, communication, judgment/critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning, problem-solving, quality, reliability, safety, and risk management. Proficiency in EPIC. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred. Certifications & Licensure: Current NYS RN License and BLS Certification. Professional certification in a related nursing specialty and relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) preferred.
