Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Galion, Ohio

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Galion, OH is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to support their specialty pharmacy operations. This role involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Schedule:

Friday, August 14, 2026: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Accurately distribute prescription medications as ordered by physicians and other authorized practitioners
Provide clear, thorough information to patients and customers regarding medication instructions, side effects, and proper usage
Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and compassion
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Pharmacist license required
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy preferred
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and adhere to pharmacy regulations
