Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors. Duties Include:
Job Description: Prepares items to be used on an assembly line. Works on an assembly line to prepare residents meals. Additional kitchen tasks. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
- Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
- Label and date food properly
- Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
- Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
- Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
- Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
- Carry out garbage
- Experience in LTC preferred but not required
- Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
- Able to follow and understand procedures
- Positive attitude, patience and team mentality
