Miller Truck Leasing is hiring immediately for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician for our shop in Jessup, MD . You Will Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles. Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures. Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, perform alignments, etc. Replace clutches & transmissions. Other duties not listed here though typical for Fleet Maintenance. You Have Completed technical school or have equivalent working experience as a fleet mechanic , diesel mechanic , or heavy equipment mechanic . Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors. A valid CDL (Class A or B) desired, or the ability to acquire one with the assistance of our training team. Hand tools. Ability to work Monday through Friday from 10am to 6:30pm Competitive compensation: $25 - $36 Per Hour + $1 Per Hour 2nd Shift Differential . Paid Vacation and Holidays.
