Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in San Antonio, Texas. This position involves providing advanced neonatal care within a Level 4 NICU environment. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); current BLS Certification (American Heart Association only); current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) from one of the approved courses; current NRP Certification.
• Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: RN License in the state of Texas or a compact license.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 7PM - 7AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred; recent practice in a Perinatal setting or Perinatal RN Residency is preferred.
• Additional Information: Weekend requirement of 4 weekends every six weeks with two Mondays and two Fridays. Patient ratios supporting the level 4 NICU range from 1:2 to 1:4, with CNAs supporting patient assignments up to 1:4.
