Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Candidate must have ACLS prior to submission Unit Information: TRAUMA/ORTHO/MED-SURG Location: RAPIDES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Address:211 4th St., Alexandria, LA 71360 Floor: 7A Building: Main Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 36 Number of Staff – 49 Type of staff: for 36 patients o Day Shift – 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 3 LPN, 3 PCTs and 1 secretary o Night Shift – 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 3 LPNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios – Nurse/Patient = 6:1 Type of equipment – IV pumps, Wound Vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo Pumps, Chest Tubes, Telemetry, PCA pumps, Bipaps, Epidurals EMR - Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Med-Surg Experience Be a Team Player Critical Thinking Skills Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
