Job Details Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, 14642 Worker Subtype: Regular Time Type: Full time Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Department: 500601 HMD APP- SMH Work Shift: UR - Rotating (United States of America) Range: UR URCB 218 Compensation Range: $98,010.00 - $137,218.00 Responsibilities NP/PA full‑time position available; day, night, weekends and holidays as unit needs require. Direct care for adult medical patients in collaboration with the attending; conduct admission work‑ups, daily management of all patients on the unit including transfer and discharge with a heavy emphasis on discharge planning and interdisciplinary rounding. Collaborate with the attending physician and the interdisciplinary team. Provide education to learners (students and new employees) through clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training. Requirements 2 years’ experience preferred. New York State licensure as Nurse Practitioner and national certification, or New York State licensure and board certification as Physician Assistant. NP candidates must hold a master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing, and current national certification as an NP. PA candidates must have completed an ARC‑PA approved Physician Assistant program, hold an active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing, and hold current national certification as a PA by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants). Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, customer‑relation skills, computer competence, and an active desire to learn.
