About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Hours Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in a Cath Lab; First-timers accepted with 3 or more years of experience in academic Cath Lab Description: SEPT & EARLY OCT STARTS ONLY Registered Nurse for Cath Lab. Shift is 4x10s from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekend coverage required as per unit needs; every other weekend. On-call duties expected; must respond within 30 minutes. Call expectation is 3 weekend days and 6 weekdays, totaling 9 days a month. Orientation hours include 20 hours of training. Total staffed beds in unit: 3. Charting system used is Epic. Scrub color will be provided. Daily census includes 15 patients with 3 rooms. Number of visits per day is 15. Unit supports adult and geriatric patient age groups. Completion of all facility-specific modules is required. Responsibilities include various procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, monitoring, and medication administration. Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols is essential. Candidates will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
