Material Handlers - Spherion Sioux Falls This position will perform all the material handling responsibilities between the Printing and Finishing Departments. Pay: $19-20/hour DOE and Shift Work with printing and finishing teams to follow their schedules in order to meet all material handling responsibilities ... Stage loads from press finish lines Pallet management to include pallet removal and placement for palletizing Stretch-wrap loads to prepare for shipment Corrugate at packing end of gluers Palletize and wrap the roll cores for transportation Load roll cores on scrap trailer Dispose of printed waste once the teams have documented the waste Help teams keep area neat and clean: sweep, re-pile pallets, fix broken pallets, etc. Complete daily forklift maintenance and communicate problems to warehouse crew Take window's loads over to appropriate finishing lines Weekend responsibility to remove bales Notify warehouse when dumpster is full Be able to work scheduled hours Working hours: Various Shifts Available High School 1-4 years High School/GED diploma Certification to operate a forklift in a safe and proper manner Ability to work well with little direct supervision Mechanically inclined Ability to lift 60 lbs Have good organizational skills Able to train other people how to do your job Be able to follow procedures Must be self-motivated Be willing and able to work any shift and overtime when needed Read, write, and understand English Working knowledge of basic math Basic computer knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr ROI Agency
