Housekeeping Supervisor 

Come work for Carmel Manor!  We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm for over 70 years.  Our mission is to treat all staff and residents with love and respect.

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor .

• $21 to $24 per hour based on skills and experience.
• 10-minute commute from downtown Cincinnati 

Housekeeping Supervisor Job Summary:

• Supervise Housekeeping staff.
• Oversee and supervise the Laundry Department.
• Prepare daily assignment schedules.
• Make daily rounds of Nursing Home to insure instructions and safety are followed.
• Train new employees, assign duties and closely supervise until fully trained.
• Recommend personnel actions such as transferring, discipline or termination.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Inspect equipment and furnishings such as beds, cabinets, chairs, screens, and fans and prepare requisition for maintenance.
• Inspect garbage disposal to confirm it meets safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage sufficient collection and distribution of linen and supplies.

Housekeeping Supervisor Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• 2 years of current Housekeeping Supervisory experience required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
