Pay Range: 2407.91 - 2528.31

Contract Length: 13 weeks.

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS; ACLS; NRP; Must have 3 years of L&D experience; Must circulate C-sections; Must titrate drips: Oxytocin, Mag, Insulin; Experience with 15+ weeks, Pre-eclampsia, Diabetes- insulin drip, Magnesium Sulfate for PTL and Pre-eclampsia; Must follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: Antepartum 1:1-3; Intrapartum 1:1; Post-Partum 1:1-4; OB in house 24/7; Nurse techs at least one per shift; float to MB/PP; 3 days orientation with a preceptor, possible 1 day triage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients in a hospital setting.
• Circulate C-section deliveries and assist with labor management.
• Titrate and manage titratable medications including oxytocin, magnesium, and insulin.
• Follow AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum units.
• Coordinate care with OB physicians, neonatologists, and midwives in a 24/7 in-house team.
• Monitor and analyze fetal heart rhythms using the Centricity Perinatal EFM system.
• Assist in triage and postpartum recovery areas as needed.
