About the Role:

Itchy Pooch Inc is looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our passionate mobile pet grooming team based out of Hanford, CA! Responsibilities:

• Perform full-service grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and styling for dogs and cats
• Trim nails, clean ears, and perform other finishing services as needed
• Assess each pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments
• Safely handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming station and salon area
• Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and pet health observations
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment in proper working condition
• Take accurate notes of grooming 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a professional pet groomer
• Proficiency in breed-specific cuts and grooming styles
• Ability to safely handle and restrain pets of various sizes and temperaments
• Strong knowledge of grooming tools, products, and techniques
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
• Genuine love and compassion for animals
• Clean record
