Description
This position requires the line cook to be responsible for preparing the highest quality menu items for guests while maintaining a clean, sanitized kitchen area. The line cook is responsible for consistently following recipes and procedures, as well as adhering to Ojos Locos standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicates with kitchen manager or management team or on any food related issues
- Well versed in preparing food items while constantly adhering to recipe standards
- Works directly with team members to ensure all guest requests are accommodated
- Follows recipes; upholds specs and perfect presentation of every dish
- Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; ensures compliance with food handling requirements
- Supports other stations and areas of the HOH as needed
- Maintains neat and organized work areas
- Accomplishes all opening, running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next shift
