Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Lead Warehouse Associate to join our team in Hardeeville, SC. In this role, you will do more than just move inventory-you will be the anchor of our shipping and receiving accuracy. While operating sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to pick, pull, load, and unload materials, you will also serve as the primary point of quality control. You will work closely with another warehouse associate, leading by example and verifying that every single order is picked and loaded with 100% accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar industrial environment.
• Equipment Certification: Demonstrated experience and proficiency operating a sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
• Leadership & Organization: Organizational skills with the ability to lead, direct, and collaborate effectively with a team member.
• Communication: Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to verify order sheets and coordinate with drivers and team members.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, stand for long periods, and work comfortably in outdoor/hot weather conditions.
• Reliability: Dependable transportation to consistently start the shift promptly at 7:00 AM in Hardeeville.

Responsibilities

• Quality & Order Verification: Double-check and verify that all outgoing orders are picked, packed, and loaded 100% correctly before they leave the facility.
• Team Leadership: Work collaboratively with and guide your fellow warehouse associate to ensure daily tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Material Handling & Equipment Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks to move palletized materials.
• Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized.
• Order Picking & Pulling: Read work orders, retrieve inventory, and prepare shipments in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical & Environmental Stamina: Comfortably work outdoors and in non-climate-controlled environments (including South Carolina summer heat), and lift up to 50 lbs regularly .

The essential functions of this role include:
