Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maine
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience as an OT in a school-based environment preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Flexible, adaptive approach to working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and set measurable, actionable goals
• Plan and implement therapy sessions addressing sensory, fine/gross motor, and self-care challenges
• Support teachers with strategies to enhance classroom accessibility and student participation
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to promote students’ academic and functional growth
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
