Salary: $30 - $40 per hour A bit about us: A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with strapping machines, along with solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. This is a hands-on position for a technician who can quickly diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently. Why join us? $30–$40 per hour, based on experience Part-time opportunity Hands-on work with specialized packaging equipment Opportunity for long-term growth Stable manufacturing environment| Job Details Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain strapping machines and packaging equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, controls, conveyors, and related components Perform equipment adjustments, repairs, installations, and upgrades Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs Maintain accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance activities Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Work closely with production personnel to minimize equipment downtime Qualifications Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar role Hands-on experience with strapping machines is highly preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience with automated packaging or production equipment Knowledge of motors, sensors, controls, conveyors, and related equipment Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Interested in hearing more?
