Sterile Processing Technician (Casual)

Job PostingDecontaminates and reprocesses all in-house prepared sterile supplies. Issues, tracks, decontaminates, maintains, transports various types of patient care equipment, to provide Quality Patient Care.High School Diploma or equivalent.Must pass a nationally accredited central service exam for CSP and maintain certification.CSP technicians will have 18 months from date of hire to pass a nationally accredited central service exam.Must complete 10 hours of continuing education annually.Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.CSP Techs employed as central service technicians prior to the effective date of Act 80 (12/28/2020) are exempt from certification requirements.Central Sterile Processing experience.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
