Unit Highlights The Intensive Care Unit at AdventHealth Minneola is an 8-bed unit that cares for a wide range of high-acuity patients. Our diverse case mix includes renal failure, respiratory failure requiring ventilator management, septic shock with MODS, hypovolemic shock, DKA with severe acidosis, and other complex critical care conditions. Our multidisciplinary Critical Care team includes intensivists, registered nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, social workers, and chaplains. Nurses are fully engaged and serve as active participants in patient rounds, case reviews, morbidity and mortality/performance improvement reviews, and critical care practice development. We believe in teamwork and collaboration. Our cohesive, multidisciplinary team works together to create an environment where patients and families receive compassionate, comprehensive, whole-person care. Schedule: Full-Time 36 hours Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Primary Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
