The Medical Assistant will provide clinical support, assist with administrative tasks, and provide general support under direct supervision of a licensed practitioner or designee in accordance with UVA Health policies and procedures and competency to promote patient health and wellness. This position requires providing service to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.$3,000 Sign On Bonus!The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.The base compensation range for this role is $17.68 - $27.28 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
