Job Description The Staff Pad has partnered with a premier fine art logistics company to hire dependable, detail-oriented Art Handlers / Movers in their Brooklyn location. This organization specializes in the transportation, storage, handling, and installation of fine art, antiques, and high-value personal effects for clients across the country. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, or specialized transportation who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in handling valuable items with precision and care. You'll work alongside experienced drivers and team members to ensure every item is packed, transported, documented, and delivered safely. What You'll Do Assistwith local and interstate collections and deliveries of fine art,antiques, and personal effects Safelypack, handle, and transport fragile, oversized, and high-value items Loadand unload trucks using proper equipment and safe handling techniques Supportinstallation and placement projects at client locations Completecondition checks, reports and job documentation accurately and thoroughly Ensurethat any changes to the daily trip manifest are reported to and approvedby the Operations Manager or Dispatch Manager before implementing Partnerwith drivers to ensure vehicles are clean, organized, properly loaded,& ready for transport Determineand verify the necessary goods at the start of every day or trip accordingto the daily trip sheet or manifest Assistwith warehouse operations, including inventory management, scanning, anditem tracking Maintainexceptional attention to detail throughout every stage of the moving andhandling process Followall company safety standards, procedures, and operational protocols Ableto follow instructions while working with small crews Employees starting or ending their day at off-site locations must complete and submit a supervisor signed manual timesheet within 24 hours What We're Looking For Qualifications Highschool diploma or GED required Experiencein moving, warehousing, logistics, transportation, or art handling onlocal & interstate basis preferred Understandinginventory processes and the ability to learn proper handling,transportation, and installation of furniture, fine art, and antiques Strongorganizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills Excellentcommunication, multi-tasking and teamwork abilities Abilityto complete detailed paperwork and condition reports accurately Professionalattitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-orientedenvironment Experienceusing pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and other material-handlingequipment preferred Physical Requirements Abilityto regularly lift up to 50 pounds Abilityto push and pull up to 120 pounds using appropriate equipment Abilityto stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday Additional Expectations Mustadhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Maintaina professional appearance and always represent the company positively Shiftsmay occasionally begin or end at off-site locations Dutiesand responsibilities may evolve based on operational and business needs Why Join This Opportunity?
