Maintenance Shift Manager

We are currently looking for a Full Time Maintenance Shift Manager to join our WS Maintenance Group 2 team located at the WinStar World Casino and Resort working .
Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of maintenance employees engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds. Responsibilities:* Communicates departmental procedures to promote understanding and compliance by employees to maintain smooth and effective departmental operations
* Relates policies and procedures to subordinates, ensuring adherence and consistent enforcement
* Manages employees' job functions, development, and job performance including but not limited to, scheduling, tracking of employee IDP goals, training, annual evaluation, employee's development, and disciplinary action up to and including termination
* Ensures subordinate managers and supervisors identify and fairly/consistently address employee concerns and issues
* Supervises maintenance programs for all interior and exterior projects by visual and physical inspection; this includes scheduled preventive maintenance projects which are done daily, weekly, and monthly
* Maintains records of all inspections performed for the contribution of a hospitable atmosphere for patrons
* Prepares all daily departmental paperwork including ordering and maintaining accurate supply levels and inventory reports to ensure proper level of maintenance supplies for purposes of cost and inventory controls and measures
* Creates and submits requisitions according to departmental needs
* Supports and/or maintains a safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with policies, procedures and regulations
- Conducts visual audits of facility
- Communicates potential safety or facility maintenance concern to respective management team
- Responds to safety concerns using sound judgment in addressing concerns
* Develops and maintains documentation as appropriate - files, logs, records, reports, etc.
* Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
* Maintains knowledge of, follows, and enforces all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Plans staff to meet operational needs
* Develops, communicates, monitors location- or function-specific procedures and guidelines
* Monitors and improves work performance of assigned teams as a whole and as individuals
* Oversees and manages assigned area
* Meets goals by establishing productivity, quality and service standards, and identifies improvement opportunities
* Serves as a member of the leadership team, providing input on overall strategic direction of the institution and serves on various committees
* Ensures all outcomes and deliverables meet organizational goals, objectives, and quality standards
* Prepares weekly reports
