Emergency Room/Med Surg - Registered Nurse Opportunity – Greenfield, Iowa

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Night Shift

A patient-focused healthcare organization in Greenfield, Iowa is hiring an Med Surg/Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a permanent, full-time role. This position offers consistent night shifts, strong compensation, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency department using modern charting systems. A $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are included.

Position Overview

· Permanent, full-time role

· 36 hours per week

· Night shift

· Cerner electronic medical record system

· Med Surg/Emergency Department setting

Shift Details

· 3 shifts per week

· 12-hour night shifts

Compensation & Incentives

· Salary range: $56,160 – $82,368 annually (based on experience)

· $15,000 sign-on bonus

· Relocation assistance available

Key Responsibilities

· Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions

· Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment

· Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions

· Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs

· Accurately document patient care in Cerner

· Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams

· Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions

· Maintain patient safety and quality standards

Requirements

· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)

· BLS Certification (Required)

· ACLS Certification (Required)

· PALS Certification (Required)

· TNCC Certification (Required)

· Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Required)
