Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

CNA Clin Tech/PCT

Patient population includes Med Surg and IMC for Urology/Thoracic. The number of beds in the unit is 32. Assignment dates are from 09/07 to 12/05. Total hours per week are 36. Shift times are from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. There is a weekend rotation required every other weekend. The position may involve floating to other units due to decreased census or need. Holidays may be required as needed. Hours are not guaranteed. Employees are expected to clock in and out on time to ensure compensation. In cases of clock-in issues, an email should be sent as soon as possible to the appropriate contacts. Additional shifts on other units must be pre-approved before being worked. Employees must notify the appropriate supervisor and staffing coordinator of any absence, including FML. If additional time off is needed during the assignment, employees are responsible for obtaining coverage for scheduled shifts. Coverage must be cleared and approved prior to absence. If coverage is not found, the employee remains responsible for the shift. Cancellations may lead to occurrences unless coverage is secured and approved. Employees should refer to the employee handbook for further guidance. Non-compliance could result in disciplinary actions or assignment cancellation.
