Robotics Software Engineer

About the Role

Join the R&D team at a Series A robotics startup building software for AI-driven robots in production environments. You will work across the robotics stack to develop systems that improve how robots perform in real-world facilities.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate real-time robot software, motion-planning optimization, and machine-learning pipelines across platforms.

• Build and maintain data-labeling interfaces, perception systems, and compilers for robotic applications.

• Work across firmware, robotics software, and cloud infrastructure to address key technical challenges.

• Collaborate with teammates to design and ship software that supports robotic systems.

• Deploy software in production facilities and help ensure it performs reliably in real-world use.

What We're Looking For

• One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.

• A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.

• Strong Python skills and experience with production robotics systems and hardware-software integration.

• Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems, such as robotic arms, manipulation systems, or autonomous hardware.

• Solid programming fundamentals; familiarity with TypeScript and React is a plus.

• Experience with tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, ROS, C, or C++ is useful.

• Ability to take ownership of engineering outcomes and adapt in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $130,000 to $180,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible visa transfers; candidates must not require new sponsorship.
