About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active State License Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: - 2 years of experience - Weekends required - Floating between campuses may be required - High school diploma or official high school transcripts must be provided Description: RRT is required to work nights for 36 hours a week. Candidates must have two years of experience. Travelers will be required to work weekends. Floating to different campuses may be necessary at the facility’s discretion. Required certifications include BLS, RRT, and an active State License. A copy of the high school diploma or official transcripts is needed during the compliance process. Skills include Adult Critical Care and various respiratory therapy techniques. Familiarity with charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred. Candidates should be prepared for a variety of patient diagnoses including COPD, asthma, and cancer. Experience with special procedures and ventilator management is desirable. Travelers must comply with credentialing requirements promptly. References are required, including at least one from a manager or supervisor.
