Our client, an industry leader in operations and manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler II to join their team. As a Material Handler II, you will be an essential part of the operations support team, ensuring the efficient handling and disposal of scrap materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Coachella, CA

Pay Range: $24.0 per hour

Shift: 3rd Fri-Sun 3/12 4am to 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Accurately weigh and dispose of scrap materials daily
• Operate Grinder and Shredder equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Waste-To-Energy Processing Area (WEPA)
• Collect and stage scrap from various buildings for processing
• Prepare and organize inert materials such as cardboard for blending and disposal

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak, read, and write basic English
• Forklift certification
• Basic math skills and experience with power washing and lockout/tagout procedures
