Risk Management Specialist

Our client, a top healthcare provider headquartered in North Dallas is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join their team! This critical onsite role requires specialized expertise in malpractice insurance and healthcare risk management, with a strong focus on anesthesia-related clinical exposures. Please NOTE: Our client is considering local candidates to the Dallas/Fort Worth area at this time. There is no relocation assistance offered. This is also a 100% onsite role. No exceptions. The Risk Management Specialist will serve as the primary liaison between the practice and insurance carriers, partnering closely with healthcare professionals, operational leaders, and support staff to maintain and strengthen comprehensive risk management protocols. In addition to overseeing healthcare professional liability, this role will lead the organization’s broader commercial insurance and enterprise risk management initiatives. This role will have full oversight of Malpractice & Insurance Management, Claims & Risk, and Compliance and Training to include: General liability Property exposures Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or a related field 5–7 years of experience in malpractice insurance and healthcare clinician risk management Strong knowledge of clinical and/or surgical operations and associated liability exposures Experience working with insurance carriers, claims management, and legal proceedings Professional certification such as ARM, CPHRM, or similar preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
